In its February review of African equities Corporate Africa reports that since the start of 2021 the markets of sub Saharan Africa are experiencing mixed fortune. The major markets of Egypt, south Africa and Nigeria are moving upwards while some of the smaller markets are inclining down due to the current COVID19 pandemic. The launch of the African Continental Free Trade Area and Africa experiencing less fallout from COVID19 are expected to positively impact African markets upwards in this first quarter of 2o21.
